When the required permissions are granted, the application reads incoming SMS messages locally on your device in order to compare them against filters that you create.
If a message matches one of your filters, the application forwards it according to the rules you have configured.
No message content or personal information is transmitted to the Developer.

When email forwarding is enabled, the application connects directly to the SMTP server configured by you.
No forwarded messages pass through Developer-owned servers.
Application settings, filters, forwarding logs, and SMTP configuration are stored locally on your device.
SMTP credentials are stored in encrypted form on your device and are never transmitted to the Developer.
Forwarding logs may be retained locally for up to 90 days and can be deleted at any time from within the application.
Deleting logs does not remove the original SMS messages stored on your device.
We do not sell, rent, share, disclose, or transfer personal data to any third party.
In fact, we do not possess any user data to share.
Forwardit relies on your device's built-in security mechanisms, including PINs, passwords, fingerprints, and face recognition.
Security verification may be required before performing sensitive actions such as creating filters, modifying filters, deleting filters, or clearing logs.
While reasonable security measures are implemented, users remain responsible for securing their devices, accounts, and forwarding destinations.
This Privacy Policy governs the Forwardit application. Our website (forwardit.app) separately uses Google Analytics to understand general, aggregated traffic — such as page views and visitor country — so we can improve the site.
This does not affect the application: the Forwardit app still collects nothing and runs entirely on your device. Google Analytics may set cookies and process anonymized usage data on the website only. You can opt out via your browser's cookie settings or Google's opt-out browser add-on.
Forwardit is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time for legal, technical, or operational reasons.
When changes are made, the Effective Date at the top of this page will be updated.
Continued use of the application after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
